Johnson Space Center Engineering and Technical Support Contract (JETS)
MRI provides high-end technical and engineering services, such as software and hardware engineering design, analysis, modeling, simulation, and development; systems engineering; test and verification; technology development; systems safety; facility support; Configuration Management (CM); imagery; and sustaining engineering services. MRI is fully integrated into the JETS team and contributes to the success of the JETS contract. The JETS contract supports the Engineering and Astro-materials Research and Exploration Science Directorates and their customers.
Neutral Buoyancy Lab (NBL)
Space Vehicle Mockup Facility (SVMF)
Operations Contract (NSOC)
MRI is a subcontractor to Raytheon on NSOC and is responsible for IT across the Neutral Buoyancy Lab (NBL) and Space Vehicle Mockup Facility (SVMF), including IT security products and services, desktop support services and Data Architecture support. We provide complete turnkey support to the NBL/SVMF for all IT and desktop-related services.
Extravehicular Activity (EVA)
Space Operations Contract (ESOC)
MRI is a partner and subcontractor to United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) on ESOC. We provide systems engineering, program management, hardware management, logistics, integration, risk management, property management, and CM/DM support.
Center Operations Support Services (COSS)
The COSS contract includes operations support activities at JSC, JSC’s Sonny Carter Training Facility and Ellington Field. COSS involves support in maintenance and operations, grounds, custodial, transportation, logistics, property and equipment, construction, engineering and environmental areas. MRI is a subcontractor to PAE and performs all of the COSS Quality Assurance functions to ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards.
Lockheed Martin Civil Space Contract
MRI is one of eight IDIQ teams providing technical services in support of Lockheed Martin Civil Space programs across the country. This contract is in support of various Lockheed Martin commercial and NASA prime contracts and proposals. MRI will provide support for Lockheed Martin’s projects in the areas of human and robotic exploration and commercial space. Specific civil space projects cover industry-leading efforts such as NASA’s Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite R- Series Program (GOES-R), Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport (InSight), and Origins Spectral Interpretation Resource Identification Security Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-REx).
