Columbia Accident Investigation Board Support
MRI Team to Lufkin
After the Columbia accident, we were called on to assist with the Columbia investigation and recovery. Within two hours of the call, we had a team assembled in route to Lufkin. This team provided months of dedicated and selfless support to the Columbia Accident Investigation Board (CAIB) in Lufkin, Houston, and at Barksdale A.F.B. in Louisiana. Each member of the team received special recognition from NASA.
We received the following recognition from H.W. Gehman, the CAIB Chairman:
